Kyle is the man who keeps the engines humming and the warp core stable. While he’s technically waiting for humanity to invent interstellar travel so he can finally become a Starship Captain, he’s found a worthy mission in the meantime: using technology to make the world a better place at School of Gaming.

Kyle brings a world-class engineering pedigree to the team, having sharpened his skills at Google as a Software Engineer. He’s an expert in scale, having built applications used by billions of people across the globe. As the architect of the technical infrastructure of the "Sogverse", Kyle is the bridge between imagination and reality. He takes Mikko’s wild ideas and transforms them into technical systems: from using AI to enhance our skills to ensuring our Minecraft servers are optimized for play-based learning and adventure.

Kyle is optimistic by nature and a builder by trade. He is driven by a deep love for learning, a passion for technology, and a belief that fostering curious and engaged children is the foundation upon which a better future is built. In the world of gaming, he’s drawn to the intricate systems such as Cities: Skylines. For Kyle, building with code is no different than building a digital city; it’s all about creating something functional and beautiful from the ground up.
