Explore the world of game design with Fortnite's Unreal Editor (UEFN). Learn to create your own Fortnite experiences, tapping into advanced tools and scripting to bring your vision to life.
Join our "Learn Game Design with Unreal Engine for Fortnite" weekly club, where you'll unlock the power of Fortnite’s Unreal Editor (UEFN). Whether you're a creative gamer or aspiring game designer, this club empowers you to design, develop, and publish your own Fortnite experiences. Using Unreal Engine’s advanced toolset and the new Verse scripting language, you'll master the skills needed to build stunning maps, landscapes, and game mechanics that you can share with the world. Collaborate with peers, dive into a creative sandbox, and learn from expert game-educators who will guide you every step of the way.
This club is perfect for Fortnite and game-maker enthusiasts aged 9-12 who are eager to learn game design and development. Whether you’re a beginner with a passion for gaming or an aspiring creator looking to build and share your own Fortnite islands, this club will take you on a journey from concept to creation.
We meet online weekly on the Discord platform, which you can download for free from the internet or an app store. Missed sessions can be made up by joining any other similar session during the week. To participate in the club, you will also need a computer with Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) installed, and your computer must be able to run it. You need minimum 8GB RAM-memory and a 2.5GHz CPU.
Balancing screen and gaming time, diverse hobbies, family and social relationships, schoolwork, and adequate rest and nutrition are key aspects we emphasize in our activities. Gaming should not dominate a young person's life but should be one enriching part of it. This is the goal of School of Gaming's programs.
Since we operate online, your child's online safety is of utmost importance to us. We provide instructions on how you, as a parent, can ensure your child's online safety, and we do everything possible on our end to keep your child safe.
Each group is led by a trained professional in game education. Game instructors, or "gedus," provide a safe and positive gaming environment for gamers. They can always be reached via email or phone.
Participating in the club requires some initial setup, but you have the support of the server attendants in the Lounge and the office staff. Once the system is set up, the gaming club is "the easiest hobby ever," as one of our customers said. You don't have to drive your child anywhere, bake chocolate chip cookies, or argue about whether to take part next week.
In addition to the weekly club or course, your child can participate in our safe gaming community. We have zero tolerance for toxicity and bullying. Our moderators have eyes and ears everywhere and we have strict procedure against all bullying.
Our gaming community always has someone to play and chat with. We also organize various community events and challenges almost weekly, in which your gamer is warmly welcome to participate.
